An Honest Review: Daikon Vegan Sushi... wow. Eating this sushi was truly a divine experience. For years, I had heard about Daikon Vegan Sushi from others vegans on Instagram, and was absolutely stunned- I knew that one day, I would have to try it for myself. I finally made it! Being with my boyfriend and his friends on a trip, I had people to share this wonderful experience with. Daikon Vegan Sushi is in a nice little area right outside of downtown Las Vegas (Centennial Hills, Las Vegas), is simple on the outside, modern and clean on the inside, and is full of great energy. Our waiter was so kind, enthusiastic, and overjoyed to hear that it was our first time there. He let us know the most popular options and we ordered a bunch of rolls each. I also ordered a Thai iced tea and Salt & Pepper "Calamari" before our sushi arrived. Everything was so delicious- think, the best sushi experience possible, and it's vegan! The tastes and textures were spot on, and in my opinion, much tastier than omnivorous sushi. The tempura-fried sushi was my favorite item-type in particular, and hit a powerful nerve of nostalgia for me. I have been craving sushi like this for years. Years!

Our meal was so fantastic, that we drove all the way back to Daikon Vegan Sushi from Utah before boarding our plane back to Chicago to have it a second time. We all (5 of us) had to have more! The second time around, we ordered a bunch of sushi rolls, and I ordered a Thai iced tea with boba added. Just like the first visit, every single item we had was a 10/10. To go into detail of each item would kind of be a waste of time here, because I have no reservations about this place at all- their vegan sushi and other items are top notch, mind-blowing, and mouth-watering. Whether you are vegan or not, this spot is a must try. There are so many positives to the existence of Daikon Vegan Sushi- less fish killed for sushi, less fish poisoning humans (i.e. mercury poisoning), and more sushi for people who are allergic to fish! Here, there are options for every kind of diet. Everything is delicious, and is actually quite affordable for such a healthy and supreme sushi experience.

To this day after our trip, I am thinking about this sushi, and the next time I will be there. Certainly, there will be a next time to Daikon Vegan Sushi.
