An Honest Review:

Vegan T'ease- I found this spot on a whim and I am so happy I did. My partner and I came here for his birthday food celebration, and it was a knockout. The food here is FANTASTIC. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the owner, and were welcomed with such love and kindness. The founder and owner of this wonderful little spot is a woman named Tee- she is literally the T in T'ease. She showed us a picture of her as a vegetarian, and her as a vegan, and the weight loss that came with her switch to a vegan diet (which is shown in the photo gallery above). She is such a lovely spirit and we both enjoyed talking with her so much before our meal.

We ate inside, which was cozy (also, full of plants), and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience. People flooded in for their orders as we sat at the counter and ate our food, happily. I felt at home, and felt the sense that this place has a bigger purpose than just great vegan food- but also a safe, healing space for the Orland Park and Chicagoland community. Of course, Tee's food is just 10/10! Wow! We knew we would be back as soon as we took a bite of her vegan buffalo chicken sandwich. This food is modern, vegan soul food with deep roots.

The food here is ridiculously good. What stood out to me here was the breading, the sauces, and the delicious spices and flavor profiles and combinations. The chicken sandwich, cauliflower wings, and 3-piece chicken were cooked to perfection. I cannot emphasize enough the amazing deliciousness of the breading. Even though the chicken and wings were thoroughly soaked in sauce, the breading stayed crispy. Tee hands down makes the best vegan cauliflowers wings I have ever had. My mouth is WATERING right now imagining the tangy, salty, and citrusy zing of her Lemon Pepper Cauli wings. Her vegan chicken is homemade, well-seasoned, and pulls apart like the real deal with hints of fat in between the pieces of vegan meat. Her fries were perfectly fried, hot, well-seasoned, and just hit the spot. I realized you can get other seasoning flavors on her fries- such as her Lemon Pepper flavor- mmmmmm. Next time, I will most definitely be getting a lot of those. Tee's smoothies were also amazing- they are different every day, so go in and see what she has to offer! We were so stuffed when we left, but we still couldn't help but want more. 10/10 food- and 10/10 owner!

Second visit:

Okay, we needed to go back. So, we did! It was a marvelous decision. As soon as we walked in, Tee was there to greet us kindly and fill us with her joyful spirit and energy. We tried some other items on the menu that we hadn't had before and were super pleased with all of them. Another successful food journey! I just want to try the whole menu here- because everything is made with such soul and heart. There is so much variety at Vegan T'ease, that it may take awhile to try everything- but, why not?! I love supporting small businesses like this- where the owner is at the place of business putting their heart and soul into everything they do, every second they are working. You taste the love in every bite.
