An Honest Review:

Vegelicious... is straight up delicious! We found this cute little spot right outside of Nashville, TN in Antioch, TN. If you aren't looking for it, you may pass it up by accident- which would surely be unfortunate! The energy in this place is pure love- I felt it as soon as I sat down. People came in and out, minute after minute, picking up their vegan lunches for the day. If I lived near Nashville, I would definitely be here weekly! This place has a special and unique feel to it- the food wasn't just good- the aura was good. Everyone who walked in seemed very kind, and the waitress who served us was so bright, kind, and full of inner light. Come here for the vegan food, stay for the authenticity and soul.

Now, onto the food! Damn! Wow! Snap! So good. I had the SoulChik Plate- which just touched my soul on another level. The chicken was ridiculously good- the kind of ridiculously good that haunts you and beckons you to return for more. I am fantasizing about it as I type this. Their vegan Mac & Cheese was made with love and baked to perfection- literally, the best vegan mac I have ever had. The potato fries, roll, and collared greens just added such ground and humble depth to the bold and rich flavors of the vegan chicken and mac. The side of their homemade ranch tasted like the Bloomin' Onion sauce from Outback Steakhouse. I dipped my vegan chicken, my collared greens, my mac, my fries, and my roll into it. A+ my friends at Vegelicious... A+. My partner had the Hot Fried Chick Sandwich, which was also another easy A+ for our tastebuds. We were sitting in the corner of this cozy joint, sipping our southern sweet tea and blissing out with our tastebuds in silence. If you are vegan or interested in vegan/veggie food, this is a perfect spot to visit. Modestly priced, amazing food.
